Summary: The rough set is a mathematical method which deals with imprecise, incomplete and uncertain data. In the rough set, knowledge is considered as a capability of the classification by using the equivalence relation to the classification and division. This study uses the reduct and core in the rough set as a screening tool in the important factor or property of the system. Upon comparing the grey structural model structural graph of misconceptions’ domain and the rough set analysis method, it became clear to confirm the common misconceptions. The study focuses on two classes of junior high school students in the Dual Linear Equations unit. The use of the clustering results of the students’ tests compares the roughness of the knowledge of each group. This paper is able to define the importance of learning Misconceptions’ point constructed by the Misconceptions’ domain, and thus decide the structure of the Misconceptions’ order and then provide the reference of the remedial teaching.
