A Study on the Application of Grey Entropy and Rough Set Method to the Weighting of Relevant Subjects in Elementary School Test Scores

摘要: The purpose of test grade is to verify students’understanding level of courses and for teachers todetermine whether students can achieve the learningobjectives. Teaching methods need to be amended orfurther provide corrective instructions to help studentsachieve the learning objectives. Tests and examinationshelp students understand their learning progress andhelp the teachers inspect the effectiveness of theirteaching methods. Unlike other research methods, suchas students’ family factors, this research used grades asa variable to compare the results of each class subject ofthe whole class; then analyze the weight of varioussubjects and assist to the subject teachers’ teachingmethods to improve the subject results. Therefore, thisresearch uses the grey entropy and rough set method toanalyze the fifth grade students of Changhua Countyelementary in a class 29, school year 101---the grades ofmiddle exams in second semester. With the grey entropymethod and rough set method analyzing varioussubjects examinations’ weighting and having it sorted tocompare, the results showed that the subject that scoredthe highest in grades was English. After analysis, theredesigned curriculum with better content andreinforcing makeup teaching will be proposed andconsidered as a way to enhance the performance ofstudents’ on the subject.
